Back by popular demand, this year’s Eye 360 Annual Optometry Conference will feature a stunning new venue and a full day of entertaining and informative presentations. Infection and optometric practice: what you don’t know could hurt you

Dr Kate Clezy (NSW)

Dr Clezy is an infectious diseases specialist physician with a long-standing interest in infection prevention and control, particularly with staff engagement and ensuring patient safety programs have prevention measures.

Dr Clezy is the Director of Infectious Diseases at the Prince of Wales Hospital; Consultant to Infection Prevention and Control, Clinical Governance Unit for the South Eastern Sydney Local Health District; and Clinical Advisor to the Healthcare Associated Infection program, Clinical Excellence Commission for NSW Health. As part of these roles, she is a member and chair of several statewide advisory and infection-control committees.

Dr Patrick Versace (NSW)

Dr Versace is one of Australia’s leading refractive surgeons and is continually involved in trialling and developing new treatments and technology, allowing him to stay up to date with the latest advances in vision correction.

As well as practicing at Vision Eye Institute Bondi Junction and Hurstville clinics, Dr Versace is Senior Staff Specialist Ophthalmologist at the Prince of Wales Hospital and Clinical Lecturer at the University of New South Wales.
