Together, they have performed thousands of surgeries to help restore patients’ vision.
Our doctors are supported by a team of orthoptists, clinical optometrists and the very latest laser technology.
We offer a free, no-obligation initial assessment with one of our optometrists to determine if you meet the eligibility criteria. These assessments are available throughout the week and on Saturdays (bookings essential). If you are eligible, you will then require a consultation with one of our refractive ophthalmologists to discuss your laser eye surgery options. Interstate patients who choose to proceed with surgery can receive a complimentary night of accommodation in a nearby hotel as part of their package (conditions apply).
The SCHWIND AMARIS 1050RS is the only excimer laser system that operates at 1050 Hz and comes with active 7D eye tracking. This means that all eye movements are recorded and actively compensated for 1050 times per second. As an added bonus, patients undergoing LASIK can now remain on the same bed throughout the entire procedure.

Our modern, centrally located clinic is fully air-conditioned and consists of a reception area, a waiting room, four consulting rooms, a scanning/testing room, a state-of-the-art laser suite, a surgical admission area and a recovery area. When you first visit our clinic, you will have a comprehensive set of visual tests. One of our highly trained orthoptists will meet with you to prepare you for your consultation with your doctor. We are always happy to answer any questions you may have – our goal is to assist you in making a fully informed decision about your treatment.
With the advancements in technology, we can now help the majority of people who wear glasses with some form of vision correction procedure – even if you’ve previously been told you don’t qualify. We specialise in laser eye surgery, including LASIK, ASLA/PRK (including trans-epithelial PRK) and refractive lens exchange or lens implant.
You’ll need to have an initial consultation so that we can carefully check your eyes and determine if you are suitable for a vision correction procedure, whether that be laser eye surgery or another type of procedure. This takes around 1–2 hours, and involves in-depth diagnostic tests and a thorough eye examination.
The laser surgery itself is performed in our on-site laser suite. Refractive lens exchange or lens implants are performed at Vision Day Surgery Camberwell or Panch Day Surgery.

During cataract surgery, the cloudy lens of the eye is replaced with an artificial one. There are a variety of replacement lens options available, and your doctor will help you decide on the lens type that best suits your vision and lifestyle needs. Cataract surgeries are performed in a day surgery and take approximately two hours.

Located on the ground floor of an office building, we are easy to reach by car. A public car park is located just behind our clinic on Lorne Street. Alternatively, there is ample 1- and 2-hour metered parking on St Kilda Road and Lorne Street.
Public transport is a very convenient way to reach our clinic, with several tram routes (3, 5, 6, 16, 64 and 67) stopping directly outside the clinic.
The clinic has convenient access for people with limited mobility.
