Our doctors' research

A deep heritage in ophthalmic research

Vision Eye Institute supports our doctors with a dedicated research unit. This team helps collect and translate clinical data into peer-reviewed research articles. Given our strong presence within the scientific community, Vision Eye Institute doctors are also approached to conduct clinical trials on behalf of companies. In turn, our doctors often have early access to the latest clinical and surgical technology – a significant benefit that allows our patients to be at the forefront of ophthalmic care.

In 2021, we launched the Future Vision Foundation to mark our 20th anniversary. This not-for-profit research foundation supports the next generation of Vision Eye Institute eye care researchers by funding grants, providing clinical resources to conduct studies, and mentoring less-experienced investigators.
