Dr David Handley is a highly experienced general ophthalmologist with a career-long interest in cataract surgery. His longstanding passion for eye health has driven him to collaborate in the set-up of eye clinics and day surgeries with the most advanced equipment, allowing him to thoroughly assess the health of the eyes and detect early eye disease, as well as obtain the most accurate intraocular lens calculation for optimal refractive outcomes and patient care.
Dr Handley’s other areas of interest include pterygium surgery, corneal conditions, glaucoma management and intravitreal injections for macular degeneration and diabetic macular oedema. In addition, he established ophthalmology clinics in regional South Australia and took great pleasure in working with these communities over many years.
