During this time of uncertainty with COVID-19, we would like to assure you that the health and wellbeing of patients, carers, staff and doctors continue to be our top priority.
Vision Eye Institute, through its management team and medical advisory board, has been closely monitoring the situation and responding to the latest advice from the Australian Government’s Department of Health and the Chief Medical Officer for the Australian Government.
All Vision Eye Institute clinics and day surgeries remain open. We have introduced strict social distancing practices to limit the number of people in our waiting rooms at all times.
We already have a number of strict hygiene protocols in place and have also implemented additional responses to further minimise any risk. As a precaution, we ask that you:
All of our clinics are engaging in two-hourly cleaning of all surfaces, with ample supplies of hand sanitiser for staff and visitors.
If you have an appointment with VEI in the near future, one of our team will be in touch via SMS or phone with further information.
For more information about COVID-19, please please visit the Australian Government’s health alert web page.
