Dr Jack Kane joins our Melbourne clinic

Last December, we welcomed a new doctor partner, Dr Jack Kane, to our Camberwell clinic.

We are pleased to announce that Dr Kane is also consulting at Vision Eye Institute Melbourne on St Kilda Rd.

Dr Kane is an internationally renowned expert in cataract surgery and a comprehensive general ophthalmologist. He is also skilled in the surgical management of pterygia.

A key opinion leader for technological advances in cataract surgery, Dr Kane created an algorithm to determine the lens power in cataract surgery, known as the ‘Kane formula.’ His algorithm is the international gold standard and has been used millions of times worldwide.

Dr Kane is actively involved in research and has published several papers in highly regarded journals. He is regularly invited to present at international conferences and has been awarded Best Paper of Session on several occasions.
