Prof Gerard Sutton is one of Australia’s leading ophthalmic surgeons and is an internationally recognised expert in laser vision correction, cataract surgery and corneal transplantation. He is a Professor of Ophthalmology at the University of Sydney and established the world’s first university course in refractive (laser eye) surgery. He has published more than 150 scientific papers and been invited to present internationally on over 100 occasions. Prof Sutton has been the recipient of numerous awards, including the XOVA Award for Excellence in Ophthalmology and the Inaugural John Parr Medal.

Prof Sutton practises at Vision Eye Institute Chatswood and Vision Eye Institute Hurstville.
