The prevalence of visual impairment in patients with dementia has not been widely studied, but a new Australian study from the University of Sydney has shown that managing poor vision in this population is critical.
The group of researchers who conducted the study, published in the journal BMC Geriatrics, includes Vision Eye Institute’s Associate Professor Tim Roberts.
