About Dr Tess Huynh

With more than 20 years in private practice, Dr Tess Huynh is a highly regarded Sydney-based cataract, corneal, and refractive surgeon known for her commitment to research, teaching, and charitable work. She is a past examiner for RANZCO and currently an honorary lecturer at Sydney Medical School. She brings extensive expertise in both routine and laser-assisted cataract surgery, as well as in managing complex cataract cases involving co-existing eye conditions. Dr Huynh has a strong focus on corneal diseases, with a particular passion for treating keratoconus. She offers the latest surgical options for keratoconus including CAIRS (corneal allogenic intrastromal ring segments), ICRS (intracorneal ring segments) or Kerarings, and Corneal Collagen Cross-Linking.

A leading advocate for sutureless pterygium surgery using conjunctival autografting with tissue glue, she has refined this elegant technique and performed it for over two decades.

In addition, Dr Huynh provides advanced laser vision correction procedures such as LASIK, KLex/SMILE® pro, and ASLA. She is fluent in both English and Vietnamese, allowing her to connect with a diverse range of patients.
