Dr Aaron Yeung is a retinal specialist with experience in treating a broad range of eye conditions. He has expertise in laser treatment and eye (intravitreal) injections to treat retinal conditions (e.g. macular degeneration, diabetic retinopathy and retinal vein occlusion). In addition to treating more general eye conditions, he also has an interest in uveitis and glaucoma and regularly performs cataract surgery. Dr Yeung has authored numerous publications in many high-impact ophthalmology journals, has co-authored book chapters and has been invited to speak at many international ophthalmology conferences.

Dr Yeung trained as a clinician-scientist and is constantly researching ways to improve the way in which medicine is practised. He completed his PhD investigating ocular stem cells at the University of Nottingham.
