Dr Nandor Jaross is a highly experienced ophthalmologist who specialises in diseases affecting the retina. While he treats a variety of retinal conditions, Dr Jaross has a special interest in diabetic retinopathy and undertook research on this condition for his PhD. He provides both medical and surgical treatment of these conditions, with expertise in eye (intravitreal) injections, surgery and laser treatment. Dr Jaross is passionate about technological advances in the field of ophthalmology.

Dr Jaross has been actively involved in diabetic retinopathy research. He completed his PhD in the incidence, prevalence and progression of diabetic retinopathy in an Aboriginal population in the Katherine region of the Northern Territory.
